About Sparkling Graphics & Design

Linda Graceffo has been living in the Comox Valley since 1988. She moved from Vancouver with her husband, Joe, a commercial offshore albacore fisher. They have two boys, one in middle school and one in high school.

Linda brings to the graphic design industry a wealth of experience and education. She is a graduate from the Graphic Design for Print and Web Program at Excel Career College. Also, in 2000, she graduated from North Island College where she took Administrative Office Management.

Linda discovered that she was good at envisioning the end result of a project, whether it be a website, flyer, brochure, special event poster, custom print design, photo restoration, book cover design, or something as simple as a business card. It is the excitement of creating or recreating an image for the customer that enticed Linda into starting up her own home-based graphic design business which has now expanded to a professional office in downtown Courtenay. Small business isn't foreign to Linda, since 1995 she's been involved in the administrative and bookkeeping area of their fishing business.

Other jobs Linda has worked in her lifetime include; working on their previous salmon fishing vessel for a number of years, as well as working as a hair stylist both in Vancouver and Courtenay.

The future is bright for Linda in the graphic design business because small business is key to the Comox Valley. With small business, comes the need to get the business out there and known. This is where Linda comes in with her people & graphic design skills to help the customer create an image uniquely their own. Linda is an associate member of the Comox Valley Home Based Business Association (CVHBBA), National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) & The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce.
